Here's how to send email from the command line.
- Type the following on the command line:
mail -s "Write subject here"
This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it
- Hit <Enter>.
- Type the content of your email at the blinking cursor, then hit <Enter> when you're done.
- Type <Ctrl><D>.
- Type the email address of another email recipient (if you have one) at the Cc: prompt.
- Hit <Enter> to send the email.
